Zermatt
La Bella Principessa a Milano Presents:
My life has been so hectic that there hasn`t been a few hours extra to write anything. Sorry about that! Now I have 4 days off from designing and I can concentrate only for my tailoring customers. Feels almost like vacation. In the beginning of November I traveled to Switzerland to work for my company.
I was styling the photo shoots for our new catalogue. The idea was thrilling, the clothing was the ones that I helped designing this spring/ summer for the winter 2010. It was amazing to see the garments ready after illustrator designs.
My best friend, a former freestyle skier was our male model and already knowing that I could spend a few days with him was great. Usually when he visits me in Milan or we see back home in Finland (normally in Ruka) the nights are fun. (His visit to Milan this summer still makes me laugh!)
The photographer was from Holland and he was pure professional. It was cool working with him.
It was hard not to be flown down to the valley, because of the wind up in the mountains. No accidents though…
…except some huge bruises. Luckily the bikini season is still far away.
The view was amazing! I definitely want to return to Zermatt when the season really starts.
I made some friends there as well… need to go back and visit them asap. (What a lame excuse to go snowboarding again. Maybe my boys will take me somewhere in Italy before Christmas?!?)
We found some kids to model for us as well. Just perfect!
I love winter and snow. I wish that when I return home for Christmas, it would be white like when I was a kid. The climate for sure is changing. I can`t remember when it has last time been white for the holidays in the southern Finland.
