Weekend a Vancouver & Victoria Video

The weekend in Vancouver was pretty crazy. On Saturday we got tickets to the medal ceremony and to the concert of Stereophonics. I must admit that I didn`t know that many songs before, but now I am a huge fan…of Kelly Jones.
The city center was packed with Olympic fans after the concert and it wasn`t that easy to find a restaurant without lines to get in. We did succeed and ended up to Gastown to the Irish Heather. The restaurant manager was pretty friendly and when our group grew from 5 to 10, he managed to find a bigger table for us.
We used the limousine to change restaurants, which I obviously loved. I have no pictures that I could publish online from the evening… (Privacy.) I don`t know who`s idea it was to crash to a private party of the Russians at Joey`s on Burrard Street. It was fun though!!! I lost track of time when the after party finished and the barbecue party that was planned for the Sunday afternoon had to be cancelled. I couldn`t continue celebrating another day. In the evening we did go to Sandbar in Granville Island to see the Swedes beat the Finnish in men`s hockey. I am not so happy about that.
On Monday I flew to Victoria with a seaplane. I loved the experience. I want to do it again. It was crazy to return to my ex home. I enjoyed spending the day with my “mom” and by the end of the evening had spent some time with my “sister” and “dad” as well. It felt like yesterday when I last watched the hockey with my Canadian family.
These next days will be great.
