Alassio e Andora

La Bella Principessa a Milano presents:

I returned to Italy 3 weeks earlier than I was supposed to and 3 kilos heavier. Ups! I guess my mom’s food was tasty. Milan was burning hot with +40 C and I carrying snowboard in the airport gave me some suspicious looks. My ride forgot where he had parked the car (heatstroke?) and I thought that I would melt in my LBD (little black dress) while searching for it.

It definitely was too hot to stay in empty Milan and we decided to leave to the sea, Alassio. Drive to the Italian Riviera was quite fast, only one major traffic jam. I didn’t know where we would be going or what we would be doing, but I didn’t mind. Important was just to get to the sea out of Milan. I met bunch of new people and finally I can say that I feel comfortable speaking only Italian. The evening started with an aperitif at Lorenzo’s house continuing with an aperitif at the bar up hills in Andora.  Later on we ended up going to the beach bar Bagni Europa.

Friday was beautiful weather and we left sailing to the sea. I love the sea, but unfortunately I had gotten stomach flu and I barely survived the day there. Evening was like a nightmare with +39,5 C fever. I can only say that my nurse took perfect care of me and he even made all the pictures of the day for me.

Muretto di Alassio

On Saturday I felt alive again and we spend some time in Andora before leaving to Alassio.

The little city was gorgeous and we had a great lunch by the beach in a restaurant called Tre Mori.

This terrace belongs to a Restaurant called Mozart and I completely fell in love with it. My future villa will have a terrace like this… *dreaming*

I can’t wait to go away again for a few days. I am starting to understand how amazingly beautiful this country is and how close everything is from Milan. I wish I can still enjoy a bit travelling before starting to work like crazy…
